Signature Stable
In 2005, the Thoroughbred Women discovered Drue Sanders through her recognition by Governor Pataki with the Governor’s 2005 Award for Excellence as the top working woman artist in the state of New York. The philanthropic group commissioned the distinguished female artist to create a decorative pin honoring women in the equine industry that exemplify the organization's goals and mission. Even though it was originally conceived as only one creation, upon seeing the pin the Women requested an expansion of the line. Thus, the Signature Stable Collection was born, and has grown to a sizeable assemblage of over 30 unique pieces.
In support of the Hannah Blumenthal Memorial Scholarship, a portion of every sale from the Signature Stable Collection is donated to the Thoroughbred Women’s celebrated mission. Thoroughbred Women, Ltd., is the only organization dedicated to the promotion and encouragement of women's expanded role in the thoroughbred racing industry and the coming together of women to defend and rescue horses of all breeds.
